Requirements
- Must have a Valid Motor Licensed
- A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate
- Proven experience as a dispatch rider or relevant position.
- Familiarity with relevant routes in Accra as well as know how to read maps.
- Must enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider.
- Ability to communicate, read and write.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and under less Supervision
- Have good numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records.
- Polite and able to get along with people.
- Sound judgement and critical thinking
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
Responsibilities
- Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status; answering questions
- Responsible for contacting customers to verify delivery address.
- Responsible for picking up items and delivering them safely to customers on time.
- Responsible for collecting monies for bought items upon delivery to the customer.
- Receive emergency and non-emergency calls and record significant informations.
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.
- Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries.
- Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance?
- Use Mobile phone, or Mobile App to send notifications, deliveries, or other field units to appropriate locations.
- Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
- Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements.
