Asus

Asus is a Taiwanese multinational computer, phone hardware and electronics manufacturer headquartered in Beitou District, Taipei, Taiwan. It was founded in Taipei in 1989 by T.H. Tung, Ted Hsu, Wayne Hsieh and M.T. Liao, all four having previously worked at Acer as hardware engineers. Asus' products include 2-in-1s computers, laptops, tablet computers, desktop computers, smartphones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), servers, computer monitors, motherboards, graphics cards, sound cards, DVD drives, computer networking devices, computer cases, computer components and computer cooling systems. As of 2024, Asus is the world's fifth-largest personal computer vendor by unit sales. Some of Asus laptop series include the ZenBook, VivoBook, ROG (Republic of Gamers), TUF (The Ultimate Force) and ExpertBook series.
